Rabo: Who am I

Kenneth “Rabo” Silcott is a Singer, Songwriter and Author who grew up in the musically rich Sae Mae Lane in St John’s, Montserrat - a unique neighborhood that birthed calypso geniuses such as Fisher, Rhadyo, Reality, Organizer and Prynze.

After competing in Montserrat’s Junior Calypso competition for a few years, Rabo broke into the senior Calypso arena in 1979. Like many other talented individuals, Rabo crept out of the Emerald Isle, but migration to the USA did not end Rabo’s lyrical endeavors. He continued to write songs and poetry, releasing his hit "Rockin On" in 1986 and his Emancipation album in 2006.

Rabo received the Best Songwriter award for “Protect The Children”, a song written for Fearless K, Montserrat’s Junior Calypso King in 2012.
